A man visits God and says "God, do you mind if I ask you a
few questions?" God says "No, ask me anything at all."

So the man says "God, you've been around for a very long time,
so, for you, how long is a thousand years?"

God replies "For me, a thousand years is only five minutes."

The man then says "That's interesting God. And, for you,
how much is a million dollars?"

God replies "For me, a million dollars is only five cents."

The man says "Really? Well then God, could you lend me
five cents please?"

God looks at the man, smiles, and says "Of course my son.
Just wait five minutes!"

ART OF LETTING GO....

One of the reasons why people get so sentimental..Its because,memories are the only things that don't change.when everything else does....there are things in life that cant hold on forever,no matter how much you fight for it.Sometimes destiny isn't always good,it becomes playful.When you met someone you learned to love,you thought that it was destiny who made your paths cross.But what if making your paths cross is just a part of the game that the playful destiny create?..making you realize in the end that the person you thought that was destined for you wasn't really meant to stay...but only destined to make you feel love and leave you when you're already fallen.
It's not easy to state a reason when you decide to leave your love.Some might think it's just an excuse...some might not actually believe...some will blame you..some might even be mad at you.What they don't see is the fact that.....it hurts you even more to hurt someone who doesn't deserve to be hurt...especially when you cant actually state the reason why you have to leave.

You can never own own something that was never yours...so lets stop gripping on things we expect to last forever.Nothing lasts forever.Forever is a lie.Everything is transitory.So while you have something in your hand,put in mind that it's just borrowed.So that someday when it's gone,it wont take you eternity just to let it go.....

When your feelings get strong for someone,it's always wise to stop for a while and give your heart....-a time to breathe....
A time to use your mind to weigh the situation based on reason not on emotion...because the saddest thing that can happen is when one fall in love while the other wants nothing more than friendship....love can sometimes be magic...but magic can sometimes be an illusion....

There are times when i wish that i was limited to certain emotions...so that i'll never have to experience pain,never feel betrayed or disappointed,and never get my fragile heart broken.But the same thing means that i'll never know how it feels to love and be loved in return...the thought of it kind of scares me....

To have a heart that's whole but numb...or a heart that's broken but real.Someday,we'll all be looking back to those days we learned to love,get hurt,cry and fight.Maybe when that time comes,we'll be laughing at our old dumb selves.....realizing how stupid we were to stand up for things we knew weren't really meant for us.

But I guess learning takes time,and mistakes make one's journey fun...life is what we make it...
Love makes the world go around.So let's live,love and take whatever pain it brings...though it's hard to wait around for something that i know will never happen...It's harder to stop when i know it's everything I've always wanted....

All over the world,as many as thousand people try to commit suicide every day.

From the survey made in U.K. it was estimated that a very large number of people make suicide attempts every year.Numerically the large number of suicides and attempts of suicide occurred in cases of people over 55.Many cases of suicide attempts are those of impressionable young girls who take an overdose of sleeping pills or tranquilizers;but much less than half the cases of people who attempt suicide really want to die.What is important to know is that many suicide attempts are a means of communication: virtually a cry for help and sympathy.

The motives for suicides include bad health,troubles relationship with other people,material problems such as shortage of money or bad housing,a disorganized life,failure in marriage and living in a depressing area.People from broken homes often attempt suicide;chronic alcoholism can also be a cause.

Suicide is the ultimate act in succumbing to stress.

Compared with the so-called working classes in the developed countries the upper social classes are more prone to kill themselves.Doctors,in particular,are two-and-a-half times more likely to commit suicide than other men,and one-and-a-half times more likely than their social equals.

two countries whose suicide rates appear to be going down are Japan and Britain.In Japan,the reduction in suicide rates is due to he changing idea of dishonour and disgrace.In Britain,the reduction is attributed to an organization called the Samaritans.

THE SAMARITANS



To prevent suicide is the reason behind the existence of a worldwide organization called the Samaritans.anyone who is considering suicide can contact a member of the Samaritans who are specially trained to deal with such cases.Usually,all that is required is a sympathetic ear-somebody who will listen.If persons who are desperate enough to attempt suicide can get urge to commit suicide frequently subsides and then vanishes altogether.And that is where the Samaritans play such an important part.

Ten times more men in the age group 65 to 69 kill themselves each year in the U.K. than do young men aged 20 to 25.They kill themselves by hanging,drowning,inhaling gas,or taking an overdose of sleeping tablets and other such drugs.


It is entirely untrue to say that Sweden is the country with the highest rate of suicides.People have said so in the past because the Swedes preserve very accurate figures of suicides,unlike most other countries where the figures are very misleading.For example in Britain,only half the cases of suicides are reported as such.
